# About OnPrem World

OnPrem World (地端世界) helps people in Taiwan and beyond run AI on hardware they own. We publish open data on which models run on which hardware, write guides and news, run a community, and source and set up the hardware for companies and individuals.

## What we do

**Data.** Specs for GPUs, Macs and mini PCs (every number sourced), how much memory open models need, and estimates of what runs and how fast. The data is open under CC BY 4.0 and available to AI agents through our API, MCP server and llms.txt.

**Knowledge and community.** Guides, news, price tracking and, soon, a forum.

**Hardware and setup.** We source AI hardware through official Taiwan distribution channels and set up private AI for companies. Everything is quote-based.

## How we stay independent

We sell hardware, so here are the rules we hold ourselves to:

Specs, fit estimates, shelf prices, news and guides follow the same public method whether or not we sell a product. We do not accept paid rankings or paid reviews.

Product pages for hardware we sell carry a "We sell this" label. The prices page lists other shops' public prices with the date we checked them; they are not our quotes.

We do not call ourselves an authorized reseller or partner of any brand until we are one.
